Runnin Runnin and Runnin Runnin.............

Saturday morning Katee and I ran the Logan Top of Utah Half Marathon! Even though neither one of us were trained like we wish we would have been, we had a blast and are so glad we did it! I just don't think I'll be able to walk for the next month! The first half of the race was 7 miles down the Logan canyon, after those 7 miles my knees were shot, so the second half seriously kicked my butt! I have two words I need to remember for next year..........HILL TRAINING!! Here are some pictures, so we can all relive the moment!!

Island Park

Carter's family has always been so sweet to me. This year I got to go with them to their cabin in Island Park for the Merrill Family Reunion. We had a blast hanging out, making the cutest crafts, fishing, listening to the Mama Mia soundtrack, laughing, and just enjoying each other's company. I love you guys, thanks for including me in the fun this weekend!!

P.S. I don't have any pictures with Krishel cause she was being the good mom that she is and chasing her little angels around. I don't know how I got away without a picture of her and Kenya Belle.........But I love them just as much!!

Better than Fair

Who doesn't love the fair? Every year we look forward to the Weber County Fair. I haven't actually been for a couple years, so I was even that much more excited to go! I realized there are a 2 things at the fair that I can't go without.

1- Cotton Candy. If you watch my slideshow you will have the delight of seeing my mom scarffing a piece of cotton candy. I now know that it's not my fault I love it so much........it's in my genes.

2- The Rides. Alright, I don't know what it is about fair rides, but they make me sicker than any ride at Lagoon. In fact I usually don't get sick on rides at all, until I go on the rides at the fair. Why is this? I think it might be because they bring the ride in and set it up in about 15 seconds.......it isn't balanced.......and by the time I get to ride, it has been touched by every child and parent in Weber County. Even still, I go on them every year!

I love the Fair!

The African Journey So Far..........

Cart, I'm so proud of you for all you have sacrificed and accomplished this far! I love and miss you so much!!

Update on Elder Musgrave

So the new update on Carter is that he now isn't coming home until December 17th instead of Nov 13th! Ah, I want to rip out my hair! Just kidding............that's an understatement! I think I've said enough on this subject!

Let's Take a Walk............

Down memory Lane. I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

Martina McBride Concert

After spending the weekend with Megan, we both drove back home to grabbed our good friend Lacey and make our way down to Martina McBride's concert! We laughed our heads off the whole night. The concert was at the USANA Amphitheater. As we were laying on our blankets waiting for the concert to start, all of a sudden we realize we are being over taken by feet! YES...I said FEET! We were dying, the girls sitting above us on the hill had their feet right in our faces, they didn't know it, but we got these hilarious pictures! Well, I can't decide if they are hilarious or disgusting! Then we were probably digusting, now it's pretty funny! We had a blast! Martina might be my new favorite country singer, she is AMAZING!!

Megan, Magnets, and Making Memories

I have such sweet friends! I love them all! This weekend I got to go down and spend a few days with my cute friend Megan. Even though we were in the middle of nowhere in the small town of Park Valley........I know....you are all thinking, "Park What?"............Yes, I said Park Valley! It is a town full of Ranchers and land and land and land AND LAND for the ranchers to ranch! It was such a nice place to get away for a few days. We spent an entire day in our pajamas making magnets and doing scrapbook stuff! Oh and Megan got me HOOKED on Colbie Caillet! We listened to that CD on repeat all day!! We Lover her! I am so blessed to have such a good friendship with Megan! Even though we only see each other every so often, we can always just pick up where we left off and I'm so greatful to have such a good relationship with her! Love ya Meg!

Jackson Hole

It has alwasy been one of my dreams to go whitewater river rafting. After 2 tries at chemistry, my dad decided he would try to bribe me to finally get a good grade by telling me he'd take me rafting once I complete the class. Ha ha! That was in April 2007, and we just got around to going. And let me tell you something........It was worth every second of waiting! It was awesome! We decided it would be fun to take the motorcycle since the weather was so nice. I love Jackson Hole! It is the funnest little town, we grabbed some lunch and some ice cream, then headed down the river! me and my dad made sure we got in the very front seat, if we were gonna ride, we wanted to get the full effect! The guide took us 5 miles down the Snake River where we stopped at a nice little site and ate a yummy dinner. After dinner, we continued 3 more miles down. Everything about the tripped rocked! The only thing I would have changed would have been more rapids! I loved it!
